WIRELESS LED LIGHT CURING UNIT
1. Recommendation of Use
Before using, please read this instruction manual carefully and then keep it in a safe place.
1.1 Intended Use /Indication for use
LED Curing Light is used for light curing polymerization of dental composites, luting mate-
rials, cements and other light cured materials.
1.2 Contraindication
Show caution when using this equipment with patients with heart disease, pregnant
women or children.
1.3 Warning
– If the curing light works for 40s continuously, the temperature of the top of optical fi ber
may reach ~56 °C.
– Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the manufacturer.
– The adapter should be connected to a socket which is easy for operator to reach.
– After a working cycle, the operator can press the ON/OFF switch to start another working
cycle. Stop operating if the equipment starts to get noticeably hot, do not restart until
the equipment has cooled down. We recommend not to perform more than 10 working
cycles immediately after the other.
– The light radiation produced by this type of unit is dangerous and must not be pointed
at eyes. The light produced by this equipment must be directed only at the zone to be
treated in the oral cavity.
– Do not use the unit near a heat source. Do not use solvents, detergents or fl ammable
products, which may damage the unit or cause a short-circuit.
– The device is not waterproof.
– Although the device conforms to standard of TEC 60601-1-2, it may still cause or be
a ected by EMI of other devices. If in case it happens, separate the interfering devices
from each other, re-orient cabling, or plug device into a di erent power outlet. If it does
not correct the problem, contact the manufacturer for technical support.
– Do not use the system in close proximity to strong magnetic fi elds (such as found near
an MRI).
– The device is not provided sterile and is not intended to be sterilized when used. To
prevent cross contamination, users must cover the device with a FDA cleared barrier
sheath sleeve. It should be changed between each patient.
1.4 Precautions
– Charge the battery for at least 4 hours before fi rst use.
– The top of the unit can be rotated through 360 degrees, it must not be removed when
in operation.
– During operation, the blue light should be aimed straightly at the composite resin to
ensure the e ect of solidifi cation.
– Avoid aiming the blue light at eyes directly.
– Please use the power adapter and lithium battery which is designed and supplied by our
company. Using power an adapter and a lithium battery which is designed and supplied
by other manufacturers may cause potential dangers to the operator and the patient.
