3.1 Skin protection

Light-based hair removal is not suitable for tanned skin.
The device comes with a built-in skin colour sensor (#3) that is
designed to measure the complexion of the applied surface and
enables energy levels according to skin complexion.
Furthermore, the treatment surface

quantities of melanin expose the skin to greater risk when
using any method of light-based hair removal. This applies
to all skin types, even those that don't seem to tan quickly.
