Commissioning, operation

Ensure that the float ring is not resting on the filter basket. The pump may run dry
and be damaged. As soon as the pump is switched on, the pump will drag the
float ring slightly under the surface of the water.
Please take into consideration that the depth of the water in your garden pond
usually varies. Always install the Skimmer so that the float ring can move up or
down depending on the depth of the water (Fig.6). Cut the pipe to the required
length, if necessary.
Note:
If the pipe is too short, it can be replaced by a standard drain pipe DN 150!

In Winter

Remove the pump from the skimmer and store it in accordance with the
instructions for the pump.

Cleaning

1. Disconnect the pump from the electric supply
2. Remove the decorative cover (3)
3. Lift the float flap (7) until it slots into position
4. Lift the strainer (2) out of the container and empty it
5. Put the strainer (2) back in the container and release the float flap (7)
6. Finally switch the pump on again
7. Check the operation of the skimmer
8. Put the decorative cover (3) back on the container (1).
