SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General instructions
• Never look directly into or near the sun with the magnifying glass,
otherwise there is a risk of blindness.
• Do not expose the optics to direct sunlight. The light bundling can act like a
burning glass and cause fires.
• Children should only use the discovery set under the supervision of their
parents. Keep packaging materials, small parts and the carrying strap away
from small children so that they do not injure themselves with them.
Notes on cleaning and care
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
• The included explorer bag is made of 100% cotton. Clean it by hand and let
it air dry.
INTRODUCTION
The explorer set and all components have been designed for safe handling of
insects. The enclosed containers contain air holes so that the trapped insects
can breathe during observation. Following the observation, the insects are to
be released back into their natural habitat. On a big expedition, all the parts
can be stored in the practical discovery bag and taken everywhere.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INDIVIDUAL PARTS
Insect catcher
With the insect catcher, small creepy-crawlies can be gently caught. To use,
simply place the transparent catch container on the insect and use the yellow
slider. And the insect is already in custody for exploration and discovery. To
release, simply open the sliding device again.
