5. Operating Instructions
IMPORTANT: Sawing requires a low pressure from your side. Too much pressure will place unnecessary load on the
motor. Check the saw blades regularly. Replace blunt or damaged saw blades.
a. Fitting and changing a saw blade (fig. B)
Make sure the saw blade holder (2) is dust-free.
• Slide the safety guard up
• Loosen the screws (1) with the included hex key
• Slide a saw blade into the saw blade holder (2) while making sure that it slides into the slot of the blade support
rollers (3).
• Tighten the screws with the hex key
• Slide the safety guard down
• Check on a regular basis whether the blade is still securely in place; vibrations could cause it to loosen. Only do
this check when the machine has been unplugged from the mains and the blade has come to a complete stop.
b. Setting the mitre angle (fig. C)
The maximum mitre angle is -45° to 45°.
• Loosen the screws (2)
• Adjust the shoe (1) to the desired angle
• Fasten the screws (2)
c. Dust Extraction (fig. A)
Dust is evacuated via the dust exhaust and a vacuum cleaner
• Connect an adapter (6) to the exhaust (7).
• Connect a vacuum cleaner to the exhaust
d. Speed Adjustment (fig. A)
Adjust the sawing speed with the wheel (2).
e. Fitting a parallel guide (fig. D)
The parallel guide allows the user to saw parallel to an edge at a max. distance of 10cm.
• Mount the parallel guide (3) on the shoe (2) as shown in the figure.
• Set the required distance and tighten the screws (1).
f. Using the pendulum movement (fig. A)
The pendulum action switch (8) is used to set the correct sawing angle for the subject material
• Put the selector in the desired position (see table below).
