5. Operation
5.1 Power on
Turn on the scale by pressing the ZERO/ON/OFF button.
As soon as 0 appears, the scale is ready for weighing.
5.2 Switching units
To change the weight unit, press and hold the UNIT/HOLD button for 4 seconds.
5.3 Taring Function
Place an empty container on the platform and press the TARE button. The display will return to zero,
resetting the weight of the container to zero.
Place the material or object to be weighed in the container. The net weight is displayed.
To exit the tare mode, remove all weight from the scale. A negative weight will appear on the display.
Press the TARE key to reset the display to zero and clear the container weight.
5.4 Weighing
Place the weight on the scale as centrally as possible. The display shows the weight value.

5.5 Hold function

The hold function is used when you want to keep the weight value on the display after the weight has
been removed from the scale.
Press the UNIT/HOLD button while the weight is on the scale.

The message „HOLD" is displayed on the screen.

Take the weight off the scale. The weight value remains stored in the display.

To deactivate the hold function, press the UNIT/HOLD button again.

5.6 Setting zero
If the display does not show 0 and there is no weight on the platform, press the ZERO/ON/OFF button to
zero the reading.
Note: Zeroing range: ±20% * full capacity.
The zeroing function is not available if the displayed reading is out of the zero range and the display
shows the error message 0____ or 0ˉ ˉ ˉ.
