Filter system
MIKROS is provided with four different stages of filtration
1° /2° Disposal paper bag renforced inside with poli ester filter (double filtration)
3° A 0,5 micron sized safety cartrige with a large filtering surface.
4° An exaust air filter, easy to fit and remove. Ta ke care in checking it periodi-
cally and replacing it if used up.
Optionals: under customer's request, the cartrige filter may be even replaced by a
microfiletr
(HEPA filter – classified H.14)
Paper bag
IMPORTANT: switch cleaner off and remove plug from electricity supply befo-
re fitting and removing paper bag.
Take out the flex hose, release the two clamps and remove the cover assembly. LiR
the full bag out and replace it with a new one, in inserting the bag cardboard collar in
the proper place (position). Refit the cover and the hose.
Check paper bag after each use: substitute it when about two thirds full or if blocked.
What to do if:
It can happen that the suction of the machine is not working as normal. This can be
due to small problems of easy resolution such as:
• No more space available in paper filter: remove it and verifie. If too full, change it
with a new one ( as shown in the pictures below)
• air entering between the suction head and the tank: eliminate the loss of air by
checking that the head is correctly seated.
• A special thermal cut-out inside the vacuum cleaner protects the motor and other
main components from overheating. Should the machine cut out, wait at least 5-
10 minutes for automatically reset. In the meantime, switch the machine off and
unplug it. Then, realise if something in the hose or in the paper bag is blocking the
flow of air, and immediately provide in solving any eventual problem.
Accessories
The vacuum cleaner is supplied with 5 accessories, all of wich are extremely easy to
fit and use
1. Vacuum hose cpl. MK025: insert the rigid coupling into the mouthpiece on the
tank.
2. Combination floor tool MK026: used to eliminate dust and solid particles from the
floor, it is inserted on the end of the metal tubes. In 2" . Position it must be used
for carpet care.
3. Telescopic metal extention MK027: telescopic tubes to reach high areas
4. Rectangular brush MK 028: to clean materials, tapestries, curtains, ect.
5. Crevice tool MK029: for cracks, corners, restricted spaces with diffucult access.
Other specialist accessories are available as options, to facilitate difficult uses.
