Tips on the batteries

If any batteries leak, then remove them with a cloth and dispose of them appropriately. Prevent battery acid from coming
into contact with skin and eyes. If you do get battery acid in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with lots of water and
consult a physician immediately. If battery acid comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected area with lots of
water and soap.

Batteries are very dangerous if swallowed. Please always keep small children away from them. If a battery is swallowed,
seek medical attention immediately.

Never take apart the batteries and never throw them into a fire or short circuit them.

Batteries do not belong in household waste! Please dispose of expired batteries in an environmentally friendly
way and according to the applicable legal regulations.

Disposal of old electric devices.
The European directive 2002/96/EC for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) states that
used household devices should not be disposed of with unsorted community waste. These used devices
must be collected separately from household waste in order to increase the percentage of recovered
devices and to recycle their parts, with the goal of reducing the negative effects on human health and on
the environment.
The symbol of the crossed out garbage can will be stamped onto all devices as a reminder of the
obligation to put them in a separate garbage collection. The consumer must consult local authorities or
the vendor to inform themselves about the manner in which their device should be disposed of.
When the device has reached the end of its service li fe, make it defective by disconnecting the power
plug from the socket and cutting the cord in two .
Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local authorities about collecting
points or waste separation.
