Operating
The control elements of the control unit are shown in Chapter 9.1,
page 19.
The controller has no function memory. If the control unit is
disconnected (unplugged) from the mains power supply for more than
2 hours, all programming will be lost ( Chapter 5.11, page 17).
5.1
Switching on the control unit
On key/Standby (off)
Press this key to switch the appliance on or activate the standby
function.
If the appliance is switched on, the current temperature and set
operating mode appears in the display ( Fig. 2).

The appliance beeps to confirm the functions. It beeps briefly twice
when the standby function is activated. If the standby function is
deactivated, it emits a long beep.

Setting the day and time
▶ Press the
key to activate the standby function.
▶ Hold the
key pressed down until the

Following the configuration, the appliance reverts to the standby

5.3
Heating mode operation mode
The control unit keeps the radiator (room) at the set temperature.
The required temperature can be set from 7 °C to 32 °C. The temperature
must be at least 0,5 °C higher than the temperature set in setback mode.

Setback mode operation mode
The temperature in the setback mode operation mode must always be
lower than the temperature in the heating mode operation mode.
The default setting for the temperature in setback mode is 17 °C.
We recommend setting this operating mode during the night or if the
room is not going to be used for more than 2 hours.

Time program operation mode
The temperatures set under 5.3 and 5.4 apply for the time program.
Selecting the program
One of three predefined programs (P1, P2, P3) or an individual program
(P4) can be selected. The set program is repeated on a weekly basis.
