EN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Product description (1)
The device detects the movements and the presence of persons using a passive infrared sensor (PIR).
It reacts most sensitively to movements which are tangential to the monitored area.
Movements directly towards the detector have a reduced sensitivity of approx. -50%.
2. Application (2)
The detector is used to increase the detection range of a Master detector
(Swiss Garde 360 DALI Master A-Comfort).
The detector is designed for ceiling installation.
Adhere to the following during installation:
– Install only on stable ceilings.
– Mask moving objects in the monitored area by deactivation of the sector
(setting over remote control analogous to Master).
– Do not place any lamps underneath or next to the detector at a distance of less than 1 m away.
– Do not install in direct cold or hot air flows.
Range (1)
The recommended installation height for this detector is 2–3,5 m, 2,5 is the optimal installation height.
To reduce the detection area the enclosed half-shells can be clamped between lens and cover.
It is possible to connect up to 10 secondary detectors to one Master which controls the load according to
its settings. To achieve complete converage by using several detectors, it is recommended to have
an overlap of approximately 30%.
3. Safety notes
!
Ensure that the electrical lines are de-energised before installation.
Installation is only permitted by electricians in compliance with local legislation.
4. Installation (3)
The detector is intended for ceilling installation at a height of 2 to 3,5 m.
The diameter Ø of the monitored area depends on the installed height.
Install the detector as follows:
– Remove the front cover by turning it anti-clockwise, then unscrew the upper section of the detector.
– Mark and drill the drilled holes in the desired installation location.
– Pull the cable through the cable ducts.
– Fasten the detector with a set of screws / dowels.
– Wire the detector according to item 5.
– Fit and screw back on the upper section of the detector.
– Fasten the front cover by turning it clockwise.
– The detector is after about 40 s operational and is automatically detected by master.

6. Sensitivity setup, factory reset and test mode
Programming and configuration are done via the P-IR remote control DALI addressable Art.-Nr. 41934 (6).
The programming mode will indicated by the yellow LED. Each receiving of a proper signal is confirmed
with a short lapse of the yellow LED.
Note: At the secondary detectors allways, the yellow led flash as a response to a pressing
of the «Lock/Unlock» or «Status» button ( the master always response with the green LED).
Setting of sensitivity (1)
The 360° detection range is split into 3 sectors A – B – C of 120° each. Sensitivity may be adjusted
either for all three sectors or for each individual sector. Sectors may be completely deactivated.
Sensitivity setup for all 3 sectors:
1. Briefly press «Lock/Unlock» button: Programming mode
2. Briefly press «Sens.» button: sensitivity for all 3 sectors
3. Set sensitivity by pressing «1» for Max, «2» for High, «3» for Low, «4» for Min
4. Briefly press «Lock/Unlock» button: Operating mode

Example: The detector needs to work with Low sensitivity. Press the «Lock/Unlock» button; the yellow LED switches
on. Then press «Sens.» and «3». Finally, press «Lock/Unlock» again; the yellow LED switches off.
Sensitivity setup for an individual sector sample:
1. Briefly press «Lock/Unlock» button: Programming mode
2. Long press «Sens.» button >4 s: sensitivity for individual sector
3. Select by repeatedly pressing «Next» button: red LED for sector A, blue LED for sector B, green LED for sector C
4. Set sensitivity by pressing «1» for Max, «2» for High, «3» for Low, «4» for Min
5. Briefly press «Lock/Unlock» button: Operating mode
Individual sectors may be deactivated with «Test On/Off» button(enabled 1x flash, disabled 2x flash).
It is recommended to check the sensitivity in test mode after configuration. Each sector is thus indicated
by its respective LED colour code. The LED remains off in case of deactivated sectors.
To check settings, press «Status» followed by «Sens.» to display sensitivity.
The presence detector displays the sensitivity by the respective number of LED flashes.
Example: Press «Status» button and then «Sens.». The yellow LED flashes 3 times,
which means that a Low sensitivity has been set.
Reset to default settings
If the detector needs to be reset to its default settings (Max sensitivity), meaning into the «Out-of-the-box» setup
mode, please proceed as follows:
1. Press «Lock/Unlock» button: Programming mode
2. Press and hold «Fact. set.» button for about 4 s until the yellow LED switches off 2 times as confirmation.
3. Press «Lock/Unlock» button: Operating mode
Test Mode
To check, whether the detector covers the required range, it is necessary to activate
the test function at the master («Lock/Unlock» dann «Test On/Off»).
All secondary detectors connected to the dali bus are then automatically in the test. Sectors detecting
motion are identified by their respective LED colour flashing. For deactivation of the test
for the secondary detector, press «Lock/Unlock» on the secondary device.
To disable the test at all devices, press «Lock/Unlock» on the master device."

DE INSTALLATIONSANLEITUNG
1. Produktbeschreibung (1)
Der Melder erkennt Personenbewegungen und Personenanwesenheit mittels Passiv-Infrarot Sensor (PIR).
Er reagiert am empfindlichsten bei Bewegungen, die tangential zum überwachten Bereich verlaufen.
Bewegungen welche direkt auf den Melder zu erfolgen, haben eine reduzierte Empfindlichkeit von ca. -50%.
2. Anwendung (2)
Der Melder dient zur Erweiterung des Erfassungsbereichs eines Master Melders
(Swiss Garde 360 DALI Master A-Comfort).
Der Melder ist für die Deckenmontage vorgesehen.
Bei der Installation beachten:
– Nur an stabilen Decken montieren.
– Bewegliche Gegenstände im überwachten Bereich durch deaktivieren des Sektors ausblenden
(Einstellung über Fernbedienung analog zu Master).
– Keine Leuchten unterhalb oder weniger als 1 m neben dem Melder platzieren.
– Nicht in direkten Kälte- oder Wärmeluftstrom montieren.
Reichweite (1)
Die empfohlene Montagehöhe für diesen Melder ist 2–3,5 m. 2,5 m ist die optimale Montagehöhe.
Zur Bereichsreduktion können die beiliegenden Halbschalen zwischen Linse und Abdeckung geklemmt werden.
Es ist möglich, 10 Sekundär-Melder an einen Master anzuschliessen, der die Beleuchtung gemäss seinen
Einstellungen steuert. Um beim Einsatz mehrerer Melder eine komplette Deckung zu erreichen,
empfiehlt es sich, mit einer Überlappung von ca. 30% zu rechnen.
3. Sicherheitshinweise
!
Vor der Installation prüfen, dass die elektrischen Leitungen spannungsfrei sind.
Die Installation darf nur durch Elektrofachpersonal unter Einhaltung der landesüblichen
Vorschriften erfolgen.
4. Montage (3)
Der Melder ist für eine Deckenmontage von 2 bis 3,5 m Höhe vorgesehen.
Der Durchmesser Ø des überwachten Bereichs ist abhängig von der Montagehöhe.
Zur Montage:
– Frontabdeckung mittels Drehung im Gegenuhrzeigersinn entfernen, danach Melder Oberteil entfernen.
– Bohrlöcher am gewünschten Montageort anzeichnen und bohren.
– Leitung durch Kabeldurchführungen ziehen.
– Melder mit Schrauben / Dübel Set befestigen.
– Melder gemäss Punkt 5. verdrahten.
– Melder Oberteil anbringen.
– Frontabdeckung mittels Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn befestigen.
– Der Melder ist nach ca. 40 s betriebsbereit und wird vom Master automatisch erkannt.

6. Einstellung der Empfindlickeit, Rückstellung und Gehtest
Die Programmierung ist über die P-IR Fernbedienung DALI adressierbar Art.-Nr. 41934 möglich (6).
Im Programmiermodus leuchtet die gelbe LED und jeder Empfang eines korrekten Signals wird
mit einem kurzen Erlöschen der gelben LED bestätigt.
Hinweis: Bei den Sekundär-Meldern leuchtet immer die gelbe LED als Antwort auf ein Drücken
der «Lock/Unlock» oder «Status» Taste (beim Master immer die grüne LED).
Einstellung der Empfindlichkeit (1)
Der Erfassungsbereich von total 360° ist in 3 Sektoren, A – B – C, von jeweils 120° aufgeteilt.
Die Empfindlichkeit kann entweder für alle Sektoren gemeinsam oder für jeden Sektor einzeln
eingestellt werden. Ein Sektor kann vollständig ausgeschaltet werden.
Einstellen der Empfindlichkeit für alle Sektoren gleichzeitig:
1. Taste «Lock/Unlock» kurz drücken: Programmiermodus
2. Taste «Sens.» kurz drücken: Empfindlichkeit für alle Sektoren gleichzeitig
3. Setze Empfindlichkeit mit «1» für Max, «2» für High, «3» für Low, «4» für Min
4. Taste «Lock/Unlock» kurz drücken: Betriebsmodus

Beispiel: Der Melder soll mit Low Empfindlichkeit arbeiten. Die Taste «Lock/Unlock» drücken,
die gelbe LED schaltet sich ein. Dann «Sens.» und «3» drücken. Abschliessend erneut «Lock/Unlock»
drücken, die gelbe LED schaltet sich aus.
Einstellen der Empfindlichkeit für einen einzelnen Sektor:
1. Taste «Lock/Unlock» kurz drücken: Programmiermodus
2. Taste «Sens.» lang drücken >4 s: Empfindlichkeit für einzelne Sektoren
3. Wähle mit wiederholt «Next» drücken: rote LED für Sektor A, blaue LED für Sektor B, grüne LED für Sektor C
4. Setze Empfindlichkeit mit «1» für Max, «2» für High, «3» für Low, «4» für Min
5. Taste «Lock/Unlock» kurz drücken: Betriebsmodus
Mit der «Test On/Off» kann ein einzelner Sektor deaktiviert werden (aktiv 1x blinken, inaktiv 2x blinken). Nach der
Konfiguration der Sektoren wird empfohlen die Empfindlichkeit im Geh-Test zu überprüfen. Dabei wird jeder Sektor
mit der jeweiligen LED Farbe angezeigt. Bei deaktiviertem Sektor bleibt die LED ausgeschaltet.
Zur Anzeige der programmierten Empfindlichkeit erst «Status» und dann «Sens.» drücken.
Der Melder zeigt die Empfindlichkeit durch eine entsprechende Anzahl von Blinksignalen der LED an.
Beispiel: Die Taste «Status» und dann «Sens.» drücken. Die gelbe LED
blinkt dreimal, was bedeutet, dass eine Low Empfindlichkeit eingestellt ist.
Rückstellung auf Werkseinstellungen
Soll der Melder auf seine Werkseinstellung (Max Empfindlichkeit) zurückgesetzt werden,
wie in «Out-of-the-box», bitte wie folgt vorgehen:
1. Taste «Lock/Unlock» drücken: Programmiermodus
2. Taste «Fact. set.» ca. 4 s gedrückt halten, bis sich die gelbe LED zur Bestätigung zweimal kurz ausschaltet.
3. Taste «Lock/Unlock» drücken: Betriebsmodus
Gehtest
Um zu prüfen, ob der Melder den benötigten Bereich erfasst, müssen sie die Testfunktion
beim Master aktivieren («Lock/Unlock» dann «Test On/Off»).
Alle am DALI-Bus angeschlossenen Sekundär-Melder befinden sich dann automatisch im Test.
Je nach Erfassungs-Sektor leuchtet die entsprechende LED auf bei Detektion.
Zur Deaktivierung des Tests für den Sekundär-Melder drücken sie beim Sekundär-Melder auf «Lock/Unlock».
Um den Test bei allen Meldern zu deaktivieren drücken sie beim Master auf «Lock/Unlock».
