● Always lift the suction hose out of the liquid before switching off.
● Due to the high suction force and flow-promoting container shape, some water may flow
out of the hose when the appliance is switched off.
● The float valve can respond prematurely when larger quantities of fluid are sucked up.
Turn off the appliance, remove the filter and empty out the water.
● The filter can be dispensed with when liquid is primarily sucked up.
● A second (exchangeable) filter should be used for frequent changeover between dry and
wet suction cleaning.
● When taking up strongly contaminated water, we recommend the use of a washable foam
filter instead of the folded filter which has been fitted. If the foam filter is not part of the scope
of delivery, this filter can be ordered under the accessory article no. 41 32 97.
7.3 Emptying the container.
Turn off 2a, disconnect the plug 4, and open the lock-in closure 14. Remove the top section
1 and hose from the container 12. Empty the container or remove the paper filter bag 18
from the suction opening.

From time to time the filter sack should be brushed or beaten. Folded filters should be
cleaned with a soft brush or, possibly, with water. Dry the filter and container thoroughly so
that dust cannot adhere to moist parts. To prevent dirt accumulation and encrustation, dry
dust must be removed before changing over to wet suction cleaning. Clean the container
and accessories with water. Wipe the top section 1 with a moist cloth.

Clogged motor protection filter – Clean.
Clogged nozzle, tube or hose – Clean.
