● Always lift the suction hose out of the liquid before switching off.
● Due to the high suction force and fl ow-promoting container shape, some water may fl ow
out of the hose when the appliance is switched off.
● The fl oat valve can respond prematurely when larger quantities of fl uid are sucked up.
Turn off the appliance, remove the fi lter and empty out the water.
● The fi lter can be dispensed with when liquid is primarily sucked up.
● A second (exchangeable) fi lter should be used for frequent changeover between dry and
wet suction cleaning.
● When taking up strongly contaminated water, we recommend the use of a washable foam
fi lter instead of the folded fi lter which has been fi tted. If the foam fi lter is not part of the scope
of delivery, this fi lter can be ordered under the accessory article no. 41 32 97.
7.3 Emptying the container.
Turn off 2a, disconnect the plug 4, and open the lock-in closure 14. Remove the top section
1 and hose from the container 12. Empty the container or remove the paper fi lter bag 18
from the suction opening.

From time to time the fi lter sack should be brushed or beaten. Folded fi lters should be
cleaned with a soft brush or, possibly, with water. Dry the fi lter and container thoroughly so
that dust cannot adhere to moist parts. To prevent dirt accumulation and encrustation, dry
dust must be removed before changing over to wet suction cleaning. Clean the container
and accessories with water. Wipe the top section 1 with a moist cloth.

Is the power supply cable broken?
