Before first Use

1. Remove the unit and the accessories out of the packaging. Keep packaging
materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!
2. Use a small coin or a screwdriver and completely turn in the transport lock
screw (9) to unlock the transport lock.
3. Remove the plastic needle cover from the needle (see
illustration on the right).
4. Connect the power cord (21) to a wall outlet.
5. Connect both RCA plugs of the line output (20) to a line
input (not Phono input!) of your audio amplifier. Connect
the red RCA plug to the red input resp. the "right" input
of the amplifier. Connect the white RCA plug to the white
input resp. the "left" input of the amplifier.
6. Pull back the safety lever of the tone arm rest (13).
The record player now is ready for use.

Replacing the Pickup System/Stylus

1. Switch off the record player.
2. Set a small screwdriver at the tip of the stylus (A) and carefully push it down
(see illustration).
3. Remove the stylus by pulling it down and forward.
4. Hold the tip of the new stylus and insert the other edge by pressing in the
direction B until it audibly snaps in. Then push it up in the direction C.
5. Perform a test run with the new stylus.
