Care and maintenance

• Turn the rice cooker off using the power switch (4), unplug the mains lead from the
wall socket and let the rice cooker cool completely before cleaning it.
• Hand wash the inner bowl in warm water with washing up liquid. Wash the lid in
the same manner.
• Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water
or other liquid.
• Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the rice cooker or any of
its accessories.
• In order to ensure good contact between the heating plate (the bottom of the rice
cooker) and the bottom of the inner bowl, the heating plate can be cleaned using
wire wool if required.
