Instructions for use
Be careful when opening the lid after cooking the rice. Lifting the lid will release
hot steam. Use an oven mitt or cloth to prevent scalding.
1. Measure out the amount of rice to be cooked in accordance with the instructions
on the rice packet. Rinse the rice in a separate bowl or sieve until the rinsing water
is clear.
2. When the rice is rinsed, pour it into the inner bowl of the rice cooker (3).
3. Measure out the amount of water required to cook the rice in accordance with the
instructions on the rice packet and pour it into the inner bowl. Never fill over the
max fill line (2).
4. Place the inner bowl inside the rice cooker and put the lid on.
5. Connect the mains cable to a power socket.
6. Turn the rice cooker on by setting the power switch (4) to l. The indicator lamp
with the [WARM] symbol will light up.
7. Set the control (7) to cook mode [COOK]
8. When the rice is cooked, the rice cooker will automatically switch to warm mode.
The control (7) switches back and the indicator lamp with the [WARM] symbol will
light up.
9. Let the rice rest with the lid on for 6–8 minutes.
10. It is quite normal for a little rice to stick to the bottom of the bowl and burn. If a
large portion of the rice is burned, try using additional water the next time.
11. Switch the rice cooker off using the power switch and disconnect it from the
power supply after use.
