Getting Started, Use
Before using for the first time, a plastic protective strip must be removed from the key finder. This prevents
the batteries from discharging too early.
After removing the protective strip, the key finder is ready for use.
Fastening the Key Finder (e.g. on a key ring)
Use the metal ring on the key finder for attachment. With this, the key finder, for example can be attached
to a key ring.
Searching for Keys
If you have misplaced the keys, whistle briefly. If the key finder is within range, it responds to the whistle and
emits a beep for a few seconds and an integrated LED flashes as well.
Depending on the location and the volume of the whistle, the key finder reacts to the whistle within a distance
of up to 5 m.
This distance is decreased considerably, if the key finder is inside your pockets, in a drawer or a closet.
Flashlight Function
Press the button on the top of the key finder. As long as you keep this button pressed, the LED at the front
of the key finder is lit. Bear in mind that the battery life is shortened considerably when the flashlight is used
frequently.
Replacing the Battery
The battery needs replacing when the LED only shines weakly or not at all when the button is pressed.
• First, unscrew the two small cross-head screws at the bottom of the key finder.
• Carefully remove the bottom cover. The board with the two batteries is then
visible, see picture on the right.
Version 03/12
• Carefully lift the board a little and push the batteries out to the side.
• Insert two new batteries (button cell type AG3) into the battery holder, paying
attention to the correct polarity.
The positive pole (marked with "+" on the button cell) points outwards, towards you.
• Replace the bottom cover; secure it in place with the screws removed earlier.

Apart from the the occasional battery change the product is maintenance-free.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents since these might
