6 This is how you use your Skotti
6.1 Check before ignition
To perform security checks before ignition, proceed as follows:
1� Verify that the burner pipe is not clogged. Unclog it before using
Skotti.
2� Make sure that the gasket and the gas hose work properly.
3� Do not light Skotti during leak tests.
4� Use a soapy water solution in a spray bottle to test.
5� Spray the solution onto the hose and the connectors between Skotti
and the gas cartridge.
6� Open the gas regulator.
If there are any leaks, small bubbles will appear at leaking spots.

7� If there is a leak, turn the regulator screw to the right and take the
gas cartridge off ( )� Do not operate Skotti.
8� Before using the grill, make sure all parts are put together properly.
9� Before ignition, clean grease or other residue off the grill. Grease
fires are hazardous and should be avoided.
If everything is working properly, you can now light Skotti.
