Fusing

If no output signal is present despite the supply voltage being applied, the
power supply must be switched off for a minimum of 30 seconds. If the PTC
fuse has been tripped, this will allow it to regenerate.

Opening the probe

Release the probe tube by twisting the front part, pull out and secure against
turning. Push the protective cover against the handle.

Closing the probe

Push the protective cover over the sensor opening. Release the front part by
twisting, push back and twist again to fix in place.

Zero adjustment:

If the output signal is not 0 m/s with the probe covered, a zero adjustment
must be carried out. It must be ensured that the ambient temperature remains
stable during the adjustment operation.
- The probe must be closed; wait for at least 3 minutes after closing.
- At the `LEMO socket (large)`, connect pin 1 to pin 5 for ca. 3 to 4
seconds; then break the connection.
- After a waiting time of ca. 2 minutes the probe is once more ready to
operate.
Do not leave pin 5 connected if no zero point adjustment is being

carried out!
Normally it will not be necessary to repeat the zero point adjustment.

However, after a long period of time or due to severe vibration during
transport, the setting can change (see also page 4).
Attention: Do not touch the measurement points
