5. Support legs

Special safety instructions

The fan heater may be used in slightly damp
conditions, but not near swimming pools,
bath tubs, shower cabinets, or other wet
areas. Do not use the fan heater in rainy
conditions.
Please note that the fan heater can become
very hot and should, therefore, be placed at
a safe distance from � ammable objects such
as furniture, curtains, etc.
Do not cover the fan heater.
Do not position the fan heater immediately
under a wall socket.
Do not connect the fan heater using an
on/off timer or other equipment that can
automatically switch on the device.
The heater must not be placed in rooms
where � ammable liquids or gases are used
or stored.
If an extension cord is used, it must be
as short as possible and always be fully
extended.
You must not connect other equipment to
the same mains socket as the fan heater.
If the fan heater is to be permanently
installed, the following instructions must be
observed (see illustration on next page):
Use
Position the fan heater so that it stands
upright on a � rm surface and at a safe
distance from wet environments and
� ammable objects.
Connect the fan heater to the mains.
Set the thermostat dial (1) to the maximum
temperature.
The fan heater will switch on when the
function selector (3) is set to one of the
three power settings.
Once the room reaches the required
temperature, you should turn the
thermostat dial slowly counter-clockwise
until the fan heater switches off . The fan
heater now starts and stops automatically,
thus keeping the room temperature
constant.
To switch off the fan heater, turn the
function selector to "0".
The fan heater is equipped with a thermal
safety device, which cuts off the power if
the fan heater gets too hot. If this happens,
you should unplug the fan heater from the
mains and allow it to cool down.
Cleaning
The fan heater must be disconnected from
the mains and cleaned using compressed
air.
