 Never use the laser beam in explosion-prone environ-
ments. Do not point at gas-filled rooms. The gas may
explode.
 ATTENTION! Never operate the unit with the housing
open!
 This distance meter is a precision measuring instru-
ment and must be handled with care. Do not modify
the unit or alter the internal circuits.
 Maintenance and repair of the unit may only be
performed by a qualified technician!
 Accurate measurement results are only guaranteed if
the unit is handled with care and if it is well main-
tained.
 Remove empty batteries from the unit as soon as
possible and replace them with new ones of the same
type and dimensions. Leaking batteries can cause
damage to the electronic circuits.
 If you do not plan to use the unit for some time,
remove the batteries.
 Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and
do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
 Do not expose the unit to excessive temperatures or
strong vibrations and avoid strong mechanical stress-
es.
 Do not modify the unit. Do not disassemble the unit or
attempt to repair it yourself. It does not contain parts
serviceable by you. In case of questions or problems
