With the 4-way speaker switchboard you can connect up to four pairs of spea-
kers to one stereo output socket and switch them separately. To avoid mal-
functions, please notice the following notes:
Before unplugging the present speakers, always turn off the amplifier and
disconnect it from the power supply.
Do not connect more than one speaker to each of the output sockets of the
switchboard.
Please notice the wiring example on page IV.
If you intend to use the switchboard with a tube amplifier, always follow the
table on page IV.
The switchboard is intended for a maximum of 100 W per stereo channel.
Please make sure your amplifier does not exceed this value. If the sound
is reproduced in a distorted manner, turn down the volume if necessary.
When selecting the speakers you want to connect to the switchboard,
please observe the minimum impedance of you amplifier and do not fall
below it.

Example:
recommended speaker impedance ≥ 8 Ω.
When you use the number 2 connector, the number 1 connector must be
used as well. For the use of the number 4 connector, the number 3 con-
nector must be used as well. Therefore, connect the speakers in ascend-
ing order.
Example:
2 pairs of speakers = connectors 1 and 2
3 pairs of speakers = connectors 1 to 3.
Always use speaker cables with sufficient dimensions. Over longer dis-
tances, use a higher diameter if necessary.
Take extra care to observe correct polarity (plus = red, minus = black)
and the precise allocation of the speaker cables to the terminals.
Carefully uninsulate the ends of the cables. If the conductor diameter is
over 14 AWG / 2.5 mm², use suitable connecting pins.
To avoid short circuits or other malfunctions, make sure the uninsulated
parts of neighbouring connectors or clamps can not touch.
