4. Commissioning

4.1 Setup instructions

Protect the device from shocks, vibrations, strong heat or cold, drafts, chemicals and moisture by
choosing a location where it will be installed.
Place the scale on a firm, free and horizontal surface.

Make sure that no cables or other objects are trapped under the scale.

4.2 Power supply

Power is supplied as standard via a 9VDC 600mA adapter or 4xAAA batteries.

4.3 Assembly / Installation

Take the weighing platform out of the box and place it on a flat and hard surface. Insert the plug at the
pigtail cable end of the terminal into the plug on the pigtail cable of the weighing platform.
Adjust the four feet below the scale so that the scale is level before you start a weighing operation.
Depending on your options, you can mount the terminal on the wall or simply place it on a flat table.
The installation is complete.
