To unplug only pull the plug, never pull on the cord to avoid damage.
After use always switch off, unplug and let the unit cool down.

Instructions for use

Before first use

Remove all packaging components. Check the appliance for completeness.
Place the appliance on a dry, ant-slip, flat and heat resistant surface.
Put the grill plate, grill stone and pans onto the grill. Ensure that plate and stone fit
properly.
Run the cable in a way that nobody can catch it in anyway.
Before using your grill for the first time clean the unit surface plate, stone and pans
with moist cloth. See "Cleaning instruction".
When it is first switched on, the grill may smell and emit some smoke. This is normal
and will disappear after a while. Grease that may have adhered to the element during
manufacturing to protect the unit is burning off. We therefore recommend that you
heat up the grill for a few minutes without any food (ventilate the room during this
period). Always preheat your appliance on the middle level during a few minutes
before using it.

Special notes for using the grill stone

Caution! The grill stone is heavy! Take care not to drop to avoid breakage or injury!
The grill stone can be dry and refractory in the beginning. Therefore it must be
handled with caution! Never heat up without greasing before, never heat up too
fast. Never immerse in cold water while it is hot! Otherwise it could break.
To prepare the grill stone for use first you must grease it to make it more pliable.
Then put it onto the rack. Heat up slowly for approx. 10 Minutes with little heat (half
temperature) and after that turn to MAX heat. By greasing and heating up slowly you
can avoid damaging the stone. Please also read the chapter „cleaning instruction".
Note: Breakage of the grill stone is excluded from warranty. Spare grill stones can be
ordered at our service.
