7.1 Contents of the electro cylinder kit
The LZ 80 electro cylinder is delivered ready for operation as a standalone component.
Controllers (e.g. PLC) and hand switches or accessories are not included with the electro cylinder
as delivered.
7.2 Transport and storage
The product is to be checked by qualified staff for visual and functional damage.
Damage due to transport and storage is to be reported to the line manager and to
RK Rose+Krieger GmbH immediately.
It is forbidden to start up damaged electro cylinders.
The following environmental conditions are laid down for electro cylinder storage:
•
no oil-contaminated air
•
contact with solvent-based paints must be avoided
•
lowest/highest ambient temperature: -20 °C/+60°C
•
relative humidity: from 30% to 75%
•
Air pressure: from 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
•
falling below the dewpoint is not allowed
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
7.3 Important notes on installation and commissioning
It is essential that you note and obey the following instructions. Otherwise, people
may be injured or the electro cylinder or other components may be damaged.
•
This electro cylinder must not have additional borings.
•
This electro cylinder must not be used for outside operation.
•
The electro cylinder must be protected against moisture penetration.
•
With an overhead installation of the electric cylinder, fixed loads must be secured against fal-
ling down.
•
The electro cylinder must not be moved up to the "block". Risk of mechanical damage.
•
You must not open the electro cylinder.
•
The user must ensure that there is no danger when the power supply is connected.
•
When designing tables, take care to avoid crushing and shear points. These are to be protect-
ed appropriately.
•
Automatic driving up of the electro cylinder due to a fault is to be stopped immediately by
cutting off the power supply.
•
If a feed line is damaged, the lifting column is to be taken out of service immediately.
•
The electro cylinder must not be stressed during installation.
