4. If you are using Apple laptop, you must choose such cable-free transfer(Pic 1), not
the ones with cable(Pic 2).
5. This product is equipped with USB3.0 & Type-C interface. Both of them can be
plug and play.
Precautions
The external drive depends on whether the operating system of your computer have
the function of detecting other device, otherwise you need to download the driver.
Generally speaking, almost all of the older operating system could recognize the
DVD-RW through direct installation or external connection.
So if the operating system of your computer has the drivers or has the ability to
download drivers, the external CD/DVD drive will work.
Methods to Resolve Exceptions
Please make sure your computer have downloaded CD/DVD driver before using
the CD drive. If your computer don't have the driver, we would send you the link to
download the driver.
Please make sure the laptop possess sufficient capacity, or it may cause the device
cannt be recognized.
The newly released Windows system has interrupted the use of external DVD media
player software. If you are using Windows 10 or above system, please install the
VLC Media Player to play DVD and CD.
Please connect the item to the direct USB port of your computer. If you connect it to
a USB hub or extended card, it may not recognize the item, or cannt read the
CD/DVD.
