Step 3 Positioning of CLS:
screw rearsight iris, magnifying diopter and CLS into the rearsight unit such as to ensure that the sized
value of the optical axis shows the 12 o'clock position (180° on the scale). Fix the position of your
rearsight iris with locking collar (scale position of the magnifying diopter is irrelevant).
Step 4 Set the diopter sight to basic focus:
viewed in the direction of firing, turn the knurled ring of the diopter sight until the target image becomes
sharper.
If the target image does not become sharper, turn in the opposite direction ( - or + diopters).
Once you have achieved satisfactory visual acuity, proceed to step 5.
The fine-tuning is done after coordinating ALL spectacle fitting values with the ZLO system, i.e. first of all
the cylinder value must still be adjusted - the axial position and dioptric compensation are now already
correct.
Step 5 Positioning rearsight iris:
loosen the 3 hexagon bolts (fastening screws) of the CLS with Allen key (SW 1,3) lightly, position the
rearsight iris with the zero marking (white triangle or point
position and retighten the fastening screws lighty. Basic adjustments have now been set.
