Getting started
Charging the battery
Lido is equipped with an internal rechargeable battery. Connect the Micro USB cable with the mic-
ro USB charging port (2) of the Lido. The USB A plug of the cable can be connected to a computer
or standard USB power supply. The red LED of Lido lights up while charging.
The normal charging time is 2-3 hours. The red LED turns off when fully charged. The cable can
be disconnected.
Note: Charge Lido for at least 2.5 hours before initial use.
Note: The lamp and loudspeaker can also be operated during charging.
Switch light on/off, adjust brightness
Switch on the light: Briefl y touch the sensitive touch switch (7) with one fi nger.
The light switches on.
Switch off the light: Briefl y touch the sensitive touch switch (7) with one fi nger.
The light dims down and switches off.
Adjust the brightness: When the lamp is switched on, touch and hold the sensitive
Touch switch (7) until the desired brightness is reached.
Switch speaker on/off
To turn on the speaker, set the on/off switch (4) to the right position. An acoustic signal
sounds and the status LED lights up blue.
To turn off the speaker, set the on/off switch (4) to the left position. The status LED turns off.
Pairing
The speaker must be paired with a Bluetooth
This is a two part process; one part is carried out on the Speaker and the other is carried out on
the other Bluetooth device.

Note: Please note that different mobile phones may require different pairing methods.
1. Make sure that Lido is powered off. Set the power switch (4) to the „ON" position.
The pairing mode will start, an acoustic signal sounds.
2. Use your mobile phone, computer or another Bluetooth
Bluetooth ® audio devices.
3. The Bluetooth device should indicate that it has found „Lido".

4. Confirm pairing with Lido. Enter „0000" if you are asked for a pairing code.
A successful connection is indicated by an acoustic signal.
If you are unsure about the pairing procedure of your Bluetooth
device manual.
If using a Bluetooth ® transmitter without display, set it to pairing mode and wait a few seconds
until the connection with Lido is established.
Music playback
Music playback via Bluetooth
®
Start music playback on the Bluetooth ® source which is paired with the Lido. The music is
transferred to the Lido.
All music functions and volume settings are controlled from the audio source.
Note: The device must support the A2DP profile for music streaming.
Play music via line-in
Connect a 3.5 mm audio cable (not included) to the audio output of the audio source and to the
3.5 mm audio input (3) of the Lido. Start the music playback on the audio source The music is
transferred to the Lido. All music functions and volume settings are controlled from the audio
source.
Note: For operation with an audio cable, the loudspeaker does not need to be switched on.
