Air Walker/Short
Fitting instructions
The pictures that go with the fitting instructions
can be found on the inside cover (2) at the start
of the brochure.
Note on the hygiene cover: the hygiene cover
included with the Walker is intended for indoor use
only and protects upholstered furniture and beds.
1
Put on the Walker when sitting down. If necessary, put
the stocking that is provided on. To put the Walker on,
open all of the Velcro fasteners and the fabric cuff.
Place your leg in the cuff with your heel against the
back of the Walker.
2
First close the Velcro fastener on the cuff over your
instep and then close the toe flap. Then close the
cuff on the shin. Put the plastic splint on the front by
fastening it to the cuff using Velcro.
3
Then close the Velcro straps from the bottom to the
top by inserting them through the eyelet provided
and fastening them tightly. Ensure that the product is
secure but not too tight so as to prevent pinching. The
Walker must feel comfortable.
4
Finally, adjust the air cushions to the desired pressure.
Insert the air pump provided with the light tip ("In")
into the blue valve and inflate the air cushions to
the desired level. Do not overinflate the cushions.
The air should be let out before you take the Walker
off by placing the black tip of the pump ("Out") into
the valve and pumping the air out. This makes the
Walker easier to take off and put back on and avoids
overinflating the air cushions.
Intended Use
The Dynamics Air Walker/Short provides
optimum immobilisation of your foot and
your lower leg after injuries or operations.
Individually adjustable air chambers are
incorporated into the Walker to ensure the
ankle area is correctly positioned. The non-
slip tread and the rounded outer sole make
walking safe and enjoyable.
