Information on safe use of the appliance
22. Use the appliance on a stable and level cutting surface.
23. Do not cut on metal or enamel surfaces or other
sensitive materials.
24. When cutting hot foods there is a danger of being
burned! Exercise special caution in this case.
25. To prevent injuries from cuts, the cutting edge of the
knife blade must always point downward when the knife
is not in use.
26. Take special care that clothing, hair or other objects do
not get caught in the knife – danger of injury.
27. Caution: after it is switched off, the knife will continue
to operate for a few seconds. Wait until the blade has
stopped moving before cleaning or removing the blade
or setting down the knife.
28. Do not operate the knife in the vicinity of heat sources
such as cookers, gas flames, etc.
29. Do not use the knife in the vicinity of flammable liquids
or gases.
30. The knife is very sharp! Exercise care when cleaning it!
31. Use the appliance only for cutting suitable foods, and
not for any other purpose. Suitable foods contain no
bones or other hard components.
32. After using the knife and before cleaning, unplug the
AC adapter from the electrical outlet.
33. Unauthorised repairs can result in severe dangers for
the user. Always have the appliance repaired by our
central customer service department.
34. The appliance is a household appliance for processing
normal household quantities and is not suitable for
commercial use.
35. To prevent damage, do not operate the appliance with
accessories from another manufacturer or brand.
