INSTALLATION

Í Caution!!! Before you make any connections, always disconnect the battery.
1. First of all, connect the RCA or ISO/Highpower cables coming from the radio/headunit to
the respective inputs of your ZUSC5. Always run signal cables in a certain distance to power
cables and the vehicle's factory wire harnesses, to avoid a potential induction of noise.
2. Now connect the RCA Line-Outs of the ZUSC5 device to the amplifier.
3. For noise free operation in connection with ISO/Highpower input, the GND cable of the
ZUSC5 should be connected to the chassis of the radio, for best alternator noise rejection.
Try to find a good grounding point at metal chassis of your headunit or alternatively a point,
that is close to it.
4. In the next step, the + 12 V input cable has to be connected to the (+12V) terminal of the
radio/headunit.
5. Connect the remote cable to the respective terminal of the radio/headunit.
6. Please reconnect the battery and turn on the radio/headunit.
If the Power LED light up, the ZUSC5 is ready for action!
7. Now you can begin with the adjustment. You can adjust the system level with the master
volume and the subwoofer level with the sub volume.
