• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use the appliance without water. Ensure to respect
the maximum of 1.7 L/1.5 L and the minimum of 0.5 L filling
capacities, as indicated on the appliance.
• This device is equipped with an overheating protection
system that automatically switches off the kettle when it is
empty or when the water level is insufficient. Remove the
kettle from its base or unplug the power cord, then allow it
to cool down before refilling it.
Warning: hot surface! Surfaces are liable to get
hot during use. The temperature of accessible
surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating. The heating element surface is subject
to residual heat after use. It is recommended to
keep young children away.
Warning: danger of scalding by hot liquid. The
appliance produces hot water and hot steam may
form. Be careful when opening the lid: risk of
burns due to sudden release of hot steam.
• To avoid the risk of burns during use:
o ensure the cover lid is always closed,
o do not move the appliance,
o only pick up the kettle by its handle,
o be careful as hot steam will come out of the spout.

• Unplug and let the appliance cool down completely:
o after each use,
