1.2. Range of applications

The DC/DC converter is an additional circuit
board for all Behnke door intercom devices. The
DC/DC converter enables conversion of 9-36 V
DC entry feeds to 12 V DC output. It also ensures
a Galvanic isolation between Behnke door inter-
com and other devices (important when using
an external power supply with earthing). Using
a DC/DC converter increases the operational
safety for your Behnke door intercom devices
by separating the external potential from the
potential of the telephone line.
