i To run one of the other programs, proceed with
acquisition of the subsequent points.
9.3.3
Alu2 balancing program
1. Place the electronic calliper gauge on the distance
and diameter of the rim in correspondence of the
edge of the rim and keep it in this position for one
second.
i An acoustic signal sounds to indicate that the posi-
tion has been registered.
2. Subsequently, without bringing the calliper gauge to
stand-by position, place it in correspondence of the
first balancing plane and keep it in that position for
one second.
i An acoustic signal sounds to indicate that the posi-
tion has been registered.
i The second measuring point is displayed.
3. Next, without bringing the electronic calliper gauge
to home position, position it in correspondence of
the second balancing plane and keep it in this posi-
tion for one second.

Entering of wheel data for standard
programs
i Wheel data is entered in accordance with the select-
ed balancing program.
For wheel balancing, this must be characterised by
entering the following parameters:
$ Distance: it is the distance between wheel and
machine;
$ Diameter: it is the nominal diameter indicated on
the rim.
$ Width: for standard programs it is the width of
the rim;

Automatic measurement of the Distance and
Diameter (with AluEasy®)
1. Place the electronic vernier caliper for measuring the
rim distance and diameter on the rim and hold
in position for one second.
