- Put the safety car seat on the seat of the vehicle against the
direction of the drive
- Pull out the safety belt of the car to the required length.
- Guide the shoulder part of the safety belt around the
rear part of the car seat over the suspension hook -arrow
detail-.
- Dress the lap part of the safety belt into the belt guide
-arrow- (on both sides) of the car seat).
- Lock the safety belt buckle into the belt lock.
- Tighten the belt firmly.
Make sure that the safety belt was not twisted and was
tight. The child must be always secured in the safety seat
by means of the child seat belts.
Cleaning

- Wipethe top of the car seat with a wet clout (do not soak).
- Pull out the shoulder belts of the car seat (see par. 5).
- Release the suspension hooks of the inspan from the shell
of the car seat -detail- and draw the inspan down.
Wash the inspan carefully in fine washing detergent in luke-
warm water (40 °C). Do not squeeze and do not dry in an
electric drier. When the covering is damaged or when it can-
not be cleaned any more, it can be changed. You can receive
a spare inspan (covering) (Order No. 5L0 061 731) in spe-
cialised stores. The childcar seat must not be used without
covering.
Wash the plasticparts of the child car seat with lukewarm wa-
ter and a soap. In no case use agents containing solvents.

Safety instructions

- You can achieve full protective effect of the child car seat
only when all instructions regarding its fastening and use,
described in this manual, are followed.
- Check before each drive whether the child is safely seated
in the car seat, and whether the car seat is correctly safe-
guarded in the car.
- Check the state and functionality of safety belts of your car.
Make sure that both the safety belt of the car that fixes the
child car seat, and the safety belts that fix your child in the
car seat, are correctly stressed and are not twisted.
- Never hold your child in your arms during the drive, even
though you are fastened.
- All passengers in the car must be also fastened using the
safety belts.
