Power supply

• Use with power cord: Please insert the supplied power cord
into the power cord connector. Set the power switch to the
" " (I) symbol to turn on the LED light.
• Use with rechargeable V-Mount batteries: Connect the battery
(not supplied) to the connector on the LED permanent light
using the adapter provided and set the on/off switch to the
" " (II) symbol to turn on the LED light.
Compatibility of accessories:
• The LED Permanent Light is equipped with an umbrella holder
for reflex/transmitted light umbrellas and the Bowens S-type
bayonet for the use of various light shapers (softboxes, reflec-
tors, beauty dishes, etc.)
• Insert the light shaper with the three bayonet pins into the
corresponding recesses on the LED permanent light and lock it
by turning it briefly to the right until it audibly clicks into place.
• To remove the light shaper, pull the bayonet release button to
the rear, turn the light shaper to the left and pull it off to the
front.

Brightness and colour temperature

Adjust the brightness:
• After power on, turn the adjustment knob clockwise to increase
the brightness and counterclockwise to decrease the brightness.
• The brightness can be adjusted between 0 % and 100 % in 1 %
increments.
Adjust the colour temperature:
• Briefly press the adjustment knob so that the Kelvin indicator in
the display flashes, and turn the adjustment knob clockwise to
increase the colour temperature (cold white) and counterclock-
wise to decrease the colour temperature (warm white).
• The colour temperature can be set between 2700 K and 6500 K
in steps of 100 K.

Light effects

You can use the LED permanent light to display various lighting
effects. To do this, briefly press the light effect mode button and
the symbol on the display starts to flash. You can now choose
between the different modes with the adjustment knob:
1: TV flicker
2: Flickering light bulb
3: Fireworks
4: Thunderstorm mode 1 (short)
5: Thunderstorm mode 2 (medium)
6: Thunderstorm mode 3 (long)
7: Flashing mode 1 (low frequency)
8: Flashing mode 2 (medium frequency)
9: Flashing mode 3 (high frequency)

Rollei Soluna App/Bluetooth*

Download the "Rollei Studio" app directly from the App Store or
the Google Play Store (iOS 9.0 or higher, Android 5.0 or higher).
Connection with the smartphone
1. Activate Bluetooth * on your smartphone
®
2. Switch on the Rollei Soluna 200Bi and press and hold the radio
signal/Bluetooth* button to activate Bluetooth* on the LED
light
Note: The radio signal must be set to "Off" before you can
switch on Bluetooth*.
3. Open the "Rollei Studio" app, the connection to the smart-
phone will be established automatically.
Note: If you want to connect the LED light to the app on anot-
her smartphone, briefly press the setting button three times to
reset the Bluetooth signal.
Note:
• The connection is established using Bluetooth* Low Energy
(BLE). This requires that the app has a location share. The con-
nection to the LED light is produced directly in the app.

To confirm the selected light effect, briefly press the setting knob.
• Mode 1 and 2 run continuously, mode 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 play
short light sequences. To start them, briefly press the light
effect start button.
• To switch off the light effects, press the light effect mode but-
ton for 2 seconds until the symbol on the display disappears.

Cooling

• You can switch the cooling system of the LED light on or off. To
do this, briefly press the cooling button. The symbol appears
in the display when the cooling system is switched on and dis-
appears when it is switched off.
• Please note that the LED light can only be operated at a maxi-
mum output of 30 % when the cooling system is switched off to
protect it from overheating. This reduced power is still display-
ed as 100 % power.
