2. User instructions

2.1 General user instructions

• This product has movable parts. Make sure that there is ample space around the recliner or
sofa before operation to avoid that any part of the furniture interferes with walls or other
inventory.
• Due to the weight of the product a minimum of two people is required for installing and moving
the furniture.
• Lift the furniture with a firm and controlled grip under the main construction.
• Never lean or sit on the armrests, back or footrest.
• Sit down in a controlled way, not by dropping or throwing the full body weight into the seat.
• Moving parts must only be operated by the designated control panel or handheld controller
from the supplier. Never use manual force to change position of the moving parts.
• If the recliner or sofa is equipped with a battery, the footrest and backrest might automatically
fold and return to "home" position when the battery runs out of power. Never leave the furni
ture other than in "home" position.
• If your furniture has heating or massage as an option, the furniture must be directly connected
to a wall outlet – not operated by battery.
• If your furniture has heating or massage as an option, note that these functions have an
automatic timer to shut off the massage and heat functions after 10 minutes of operation.
Both functions can easily be switched back on.
• Note that the massage and heat functions may start automatically after a power outage.
CAUTION! The chair has no user serviceable parts, if the chair is damaged or not operated,
it must be repaired by an authorized service representative.
When the chair is not in use, make the chair to the upright position. Remove the power cord,
adaptor from the chair. Store the power cord, adaptor and chair in a dry location where children
can not play with these parts.
