SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Always read the instruction manual before first use. Save these
instructions for future reference. Before using this appliance, the
following basic safety precautions should always be followed.
• Check that the voltage in the wall socket-outlet is the same as the one
specified on the iron's rating plate.
• Do not continue to use the appliance if the power cord, plug, indicator
light or any other part is damaged. Contact your dealer or an authorized
service facility for repair. NOTE! Due to the risk of personal injury, a
damaged electric cord must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
There are no parts that the user can replace on their own.
• Some parts on the iron are lightly oiled on delivery and therefore there may
be smoke released on first use. The smoke disappears after a few uses.
• Take out the plug from the wall socket-outlet when you are not using
the iron, before you fill it with water or before cleaning.
• Never immerse the steam iron in water or other liquid. This could
cause a fire hazard, electric shock or personal injury.
• Make sure that the appliance is out of the reach of children so that burn
and damage from children pulling the cord or striking the iron can be
avoided. Never leave the iron unattended when it is switched on.
• Do not allow children to operate this appliance.
• Burns may occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam.
Use caution when you turn a steam iron upside down as there may be
hot water in water tank.
• Do not allow the electric cord to hang over sharp edges and do not
place it on or near hot surfaces.
