Preparation
1. Connect the device to a mains power outlet.
2. Slide the cooling rack out and lift the metal bracket up:
- Portrait orientation: half way up.
- Landscape orientation: all the way up.
3. Refer to the table showing binding material thickness (mm) and number of sheets (DIN A4

4. Place the documents into the thermal binding cover.
- Make sure the sheets are neatly arranged inside the cover.
- Tamp the spine against a table to further pack the sheets.

Operation

Risk of burns! The heating plate inside the binding slot becomes hot during use.
Switch power ON
1. Flip the power switch to the ON "I" position.
- Heating up (approx. 3 mins): status indicator red.
- Ready for binding: status indicator green with beep.
Insert document
1. Gently insert the document into the binding slot until they make full contact against the
heating plate underneath.
- Use the support bracket (3) to align the document.
- Make sure the full length of the spine is against the heating plate.

Start binding
1. Press the start button (4) to reset the status indicator to red.
2. Remove the document when the status indicator turns green and a beep sounds.
Cooling

1. Insert the bound documents (spine pointing down) into the cooling rack. Wait approximately
3 minutes for the thermal binding to set.
2. Remove the documents from the cooling rack.
Switch power OFF
1. Flip the power switch to the OFF "O" position.
2. Disconnect the device from the mains power outlet.
3. Allow to cool down completely before storing away.

Care and cleaning

• Disconnect the product from the mains and allow to completely cool down before each
cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the envi-
ronment.
