Intended Use
The flashing LED module is used for decoration purposed and generates every 0.8 seconds a short flash
impulse. The module is supplied by a three button cells and can thus be operated independent of place and
absolutely risk-free.
The flashing module is fastened simply by the already attached adhesive tape.
The flash module is not explosion-proof and may therefore not be used in potentially explosive environments
(EX).
This module is a "non-CE-tested" component and is conceived for installation in devices or housing.
When using the device, the CE norms must be observed.
No part of the product may be modified or converted! The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Safety instructions and danger warnings
The exclamation mark in the triangle indicates that the information provided next to it is of
particular importance in the operating instructions. Read the operating instructions
through completely before setting up the device; they include important information about
correct operation.
• The guarantee will lapse in case of damage caused by failure to comply with these operating instructions!
We shall not be liable for any consequent damage!
• We do not take any responsibility for personal injury and damage to property caused by incorrect handling
or non-observance of these safety instructions! The warranty will lapse in such cases.
• The device must be commissioned correctly. Observe these operating instructions thereby.
• Never pour out any liquids above the module. There is the risk that the device is damaged.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children.
• Never direct the conical light at persons or animals. Due to the extremely bright luminous source, they
may be blended and experience momentary defects of vision.
• Do not leave batteries lying around carelessly. They could be swallowed by children or domestic pets. If
swallowed, contact a doctor immediately.
Commissioning and operation
The modules are delivered wuith three button batteries. A plustic strip is inserted under one battery so as
not to discharge the button cells during transport or storage.
When you remove this strip, the LED module will start to flash.
Slide this strip under one battery again to switch it off.
Inserting/replacing the batteries

It is necessary to replace the battery if the flashing LED (light-emitting diode) loses its brightness or no longer
lights up at all.
To prevent damage to the module through leaking batteries, remove the batteries or push the plastic strip

under one battery again if you do not require the flashing LED module for a longer period.
It is advisable to remove flat batteries to prevent damage caused by leaking batteries.
To replace the batteries, slide these sidewards out of the battery holders and
replace them through three new ones of the same type.
The polarity of all three batteries must be observed as depicted!
Disposal of flat batteries / accumulators
You, as the ultimate customer, are legally obliged (Ordinance regarding Flat Batteries) to return all used
batteries and accumulators; disposal in the household waste is prohibited!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to the protection of the environment!
When the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the current statutory regulations.

Batteries / accumulators which contain hazardous substances are marked by the symbols on the
side. These symbols also indicate that it is prohibited to dispose of these batteries in the house-
hold waste.
The abbreviations for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can return flat batteries / accumulators free of charge to the collection points in your com-
munity, our branches or anywhere else where batteries or accumulators are sold.
