1. Hardware Installation
1.1 Inserting the battery
a) Remove the battery compartment cover and insert the
battery in the correct direction in the battery
compartment (fi g. 1).

b) Reattach the battery cover so that it is securely closed.
c) Set the on/off switch to "on".
1.2 Connecting the USB Nano-receiver
a) Connect the USB Nano-receiver to a free USB port on
the PC.
b) Windows detects the USB receiver and installs it into the
operating system.
c) Wait until the installation is complete (approx. 30 seconds).
d) Thanks to Smart-Link technology, the mouse can be used
immediately.

2. DPI switch

Press the DPI switch (fi g. 2) to toggle between 500 - 1000 and
1500 DPI.
3. Driver
You can assign additional functions to the key function of the
scroll-wheel by using the software. To do this, download the
necessary driver from www.hama.com and install it.
4. Storing the receiver in the mouse (fi g. 3)
The receiver can also be stored in the mouse if the USB port is
required.
5. Functionality problems
If the mouse does not function as expected, ensure that you have
carried out the following steps:
• The battery is new and inserted correctly
• The receiver is correctly connected to the computer.
• Receiver and devices are within their communication range
(depending on location, max. 8 m)
