• Radio telephones, microwaves, WLAN
connections and fl uorescent tube start-
ers could cause the radio mains sockets to
malfunction.

4. Setting and operation

Start off by setting the system code. The
system code serves to coordinate the re-
mote control and the radio mains sockets.
Open the battery compartment cover using
a suitable screwdriver. All the DIP switches
in the battery compartment are used for
setting the system code in the remote con-
trol, but only the fi rst 5 DIP switches are
used in the radio mains sockets. The DIP
switches can be set individually, but en-
sure that the fi rst 5 DIP switches in the radio
mains sockets are set in the same position
as in the remote control.

Thereafter set the desired program code
in your radio mains sockets, using coding
switches 6 to 10. The program code deter-
mines which key of the remote control is
allocated to which radio mains socket. For
the allocations, please refer to the follow-
ing table.

Attention! From DIP switch 6, only one
switch may be set to the ON position, the
remote cannot switch if two or more switch-
es are set to ON.
Finally screw back the covers of the radio
mains sockets.
After you have coordinated the receiv-
ers and the transmitter, you may plug your
devices into the radio mains sockets. The
LEDs light up when the radio mains sockets
are switched by the transmitter.

5. Battery change

Open the battery compartment of the trans-
mitter and carefully remove the battery from
the seat.
Replace the old battery with a new one and
close the cover again.
6. Tips and tricks in case of failure
If the radio mains sockets do not react to
the transmitter, this could be caused by the
following:
-6-
• the remote control battery is fl at,
• the radio mains sockets are too close to
each other (maintain at least 0.5 metre
distance),
• the remote control is too close to the radio
10
mains sockets,
• the remote control is too far from the radio
mains sockets,
• the DIP switch settings of the remote and
OFF
the radio mains socket do not agree,
• the DIP switch settings for the program
OFF
code do not agree.

The range of the remote control is very de-
OFF
pendent on the spatial circumstances. This
is 25 metres under ideal conditions.
