Using the remote control

• Point the remote control at the unit's receiver.
• The remote control must not be located more than 7 metres from the appliance (no obstacles
between the remote control and the receiver).
• The remote control must be handled with care. Do not drop it or expose it to sunlight or heat
sources. If the remote control does not work, try taking the batteries out and putting them back
in.

Inserting/replacing batteries

• Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
• Insert 2 AA/LR6 1.5 V batteries, respecting the + and - polarities indicated in the compartment.
• If the remote control is replaced or discarded, the batteries must be removed and disposed of in
accordance with applicable legislation.
• Do not use two diff erent types of batteries together.
• Do not throw the batteries into a fi re. The batteries may explode or leak.
• If you do not use the remote control for long time, remove the batteries.

OT AIR EXHAUST
In air conditioning mode, the unit must be placed near a window or an opening so that the
warm air can be discharged outdoors.
First, place the unit on a fl at surface and make sure to keep a space of at least 45 cm (12 inches)
around the unit and close to a power source.
1. Unfold one side of the hose (Fig. 1) and screw it onto the hose inlet (Fig. 2).
2. Unfold the other side of the hose and screw it onto the hose outlet (Fig. 3).
