We are pleased that you have chosen a Blaupunkt product, and are grateful for the confidence that you are therefore showing us.
The following installation notes will help you to get the best use out of our product, because incorrect fitting can result in serious
problems. The fitting should therefore, if at all possible, be carried out by trained specialists.
Rules for fitting and connecting
• Disconnect the battery's negative terminal! Follow the vehicle manufacturer's safety instructions here.
• Make sure that vehicle parts are not damaged when drilling holes.
• The cross-sectional area of the positive and negative cables must not be less than 1.5 mm
• Do not connect the vehicle's own plugs to the Aspen/Chicago IVDM-7003!
• You can obtain the correct adapter cable for your vehicle from your Blaupunkt dealer.
• Your vehicle may differ from this description, depending on the type of construction. We cannot accept liability for damage to
the equipment or consequential damage resulting from incorrect fitting or connection.

• The Aspen/Chicago IVDM-7003 is suitable for vehicles with:
- 11 V - 14.4 V battery voltage
- the negative terminal connected to the chassis
