5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains and
plug is disconnected before removing the air filter screen.
1. Clean the air filter screen (picture: map 1)
Completely disconnect the appliance from the power supply, disconnect the
plug from the socket. Remove the air filter screen by pressing the 2 handles
of the air filter screen, and then remove it from the device. Clean the air fliter
screen with neutral detergent and banister brush, then clean it with clear
water. Finally, place back in reverse order.
2. Clean the wetted pad (picture: map 2)
Completely disconnect the appliance from the power supply, disconnect the
plug from the socket. Remove the air filter screen (map 1). Unscrew the filter
holder (map 2) and remove it. Remove the filter mat from the holder. Clean
the wetted pad with neutral detergent and banister brush, then clean it with
clear water. Finally, place back in reverse order. Do not forget to tighten the
filter holder again with the screw.
Attention: the wetted pad must be installed correctly, in order to aviod leaking.
3. Clean watertank (picture: map 3)
Completely disconnect the appliance from the power supply, disconnect the
plug from the socket. Remove the water tank. Clean with a neutral detergent
and rinse thoroughly with clear, clean water. Dry with a soft lint-free cloth.
After cleaning, replace the water tank in the appliance.
4. Clean the shell
Clean with neutral detergent and soft cloth.
Attention: Completely disconnect the appliance from the power supply,
disconnect the plug from the socket when cleaning the appliance, as there is
a high pressure in the body. Do not leave any water on the surface of control
panel.
