Curve riding is made possible through the shifting of your body
weight. You thereby use the shifting of the body to direct your
skateboard. In case you prefer to alter the room for manoeuvre of the
skateboard, you can achieve this by either loosening or tightening
the king pin (steering column nut) on the underside of the board.
The king pin is the screw that leads from below through the axle in
the truck. The pressure on the steering buffer is as a result changed,
which means you can if necessary alter the setting to achieve your
optimal steering power transmission. It is important to ensure that
the king pin is not loosened too far out, otherwise this can lead to a
misalignment of the head in the inside of the truck and you would
thereby have to dismantle the entire truck from the board in order to
once again achieve the initial setting. Pay attention to an intact buffer.
Join a skateboard club in your area, in order to learn more skateboard
techniques. A responsible skateboarder shows particular considerati-
on for himself and his/her fellow human beings.
Tips on control, maintenance, repair
• Maintain your skateboard in a good condition. Even in the case of
a high quality board, bad riding and improper handling can
quickly lead to wear/damage and injury.
• You should prior to each use, in particular check the nuts, axles, rolls
and bearings. They have to be firmly secured.
• Insofar as you ascertain that something is wrong with the rolls,
you should immediately stop and check the brake. Ensure when
changing the rolls that the bearings are removed from the old
rolls and inserted into the new rolls.
• Check the axle suspension. The screws and nuts must neither
be tightened too tight nor too loose, so that the thread
is not damaged.
• In case you disassemble the ball bearing, make sure that all the
parts and the spacer are again placed back in their right position.
You should thereby ensure that no sand enters into the ball bearing.
• Your ball-bearings were in the course of the production filled with
grease under high pressure conditions. For this reason they
only roll easier and faster when subjected to a load, which means
when riding.
• You should occasionally check all parts for wear, especially the
screw-in thread. Inspect the surface for chips or cracks.
Replace defective parts only with original spare parts, which
you can order from our Service. You should not perform any
structural changes.
• You should no longer use the product, insofar as parts are damaged
or sharp corners and edges have been formed. Do not use any
special cleaning agent when cleaning; you can instead clean the
product with a cloth or a damp cloth.
• With regard to storage, we recommend a safe and sheltered place,
so that no one can be injured and the product may not be
damaged. The ball bearing is maintenance-free and does not have
to be re-lubricated.

Rolls and bearing replacement
Regular maintenance of the skateboard contributes to the safety of
the device. You should to this end regularly verify the proper functio-
ning of all parts. Rolls and bearings are subject to use-related wear
and tear. They are available as accessories and can be changed inde-
pendently of each other once they are worn or abraded. Please note
that the bearings have to be removed from the old rolls and inserted
into the new rolls during roll changes.
You may not make any changes on your skateboard that could impair
safety. The self-locking effect of self-locking nuts may slacken or the
lacquer may weather, after repeated loosening and tightening of the
fastening elements. Regular control, maintenance and upkeep increa-
se the safety and service life of your skateboard.
Disposal instructions
In case of wear and at the end of service life, please dispose of the
product in the local return and collection systems. In case of any
questions, your local disposal company will be happy to assist you.
