Anwahl der Sounds
Die tausend Sounds des nano sind in acht
Bänken zu je 128 Programmen entsprechend der
T im Anhang organisiert. Zr Anwahl eines
beliebigen Sounds gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
- Wählen Sie die <KNOB FUNC> Ebene mit dem
entsprechenden
Taster
zugehörige LED leuchtet.
- Selektieren Sie die Bank0 bis mit <KN3>.
Tipp: nachdem der Regler einmal betätigt wurde,
können Sie die Bank mit den <DEC/INC> Tastern
anwählen.
- Drücken Sie nun <ROGRAM> und wählen Sie
dann das Programm mit dem Dial oder den
<DEC/INC>
Tastern.
Programmes innerhalb der Bank muss diese
natürlch nicht neu angewählt sein.
Nano empfängt auf alln 16 MIDI-Kanälen,
folglich kann für jeden Kanal ein anderer Sound
eingestellt werden. Wählen sie hierzu den Kanal
mittels <CHANNEL> und wiederholen Sie die
Anwahl desSounds. Üblicherweis wird das
Gerät
allerdings
eher
multitimbral betrieben, s dase sch dies
Prozedur sparen können.
Im Dual- oderSplit-Modus des UF-Keyboards
haben Sie allerdings die Möglichkeit, zumindest
zwei Sounds des nano gleichzeitig zu spielen.
Selektieren Sie hierzu die Sounds auf den
entsprechnden Kanälen und aktivieren Sie den
entsprechenden Modus. Einzelheiten zu Dual-
und Splt-Modinehmen Sie bitte Ihrem UF-
Handbuch.
Betrieb mit Sequencer
Wird das UF-Kyboard über USB an einen
Computer angeschlossen, so lässt sich auch
nano über diesen ansteuern. Hierzu ist es
allerdings notwendig, das MIDI-Routing des UF-
Keyboardszusellen. Drücken Sie hierzu
gleichzeitig <CHANNEL> und <DUAL> und
stellen Sie dann mit <DEC/INC> Routing auf
"1" - nano empfängt nun MIDI überB, und
Sounds können dann auf allen 16 Kanälen über
MIDI angewählt, gespielt und modifiziert werden.
Um wieder über dasKeyboard zu spielen, sellen
Sie das MIDI-Routing wieder auf "0". Nähere
Einzelheiten zumIDI-Routing entnehmn Sie
bitte dem UF-Handbuch.

Selecting Sounds
The thousand Sounds of nano are organised in
eight bank of 128 program per bank according to
the table in the appendix. To select a sound,
please preed as follows:
- Activate the <KNOB FUNC> Led with the
appropriate button
- Select bank 0 to 7 using <KN3>. Tip: Once the
knob has been moved,you can also use te
<DEC/INC> buttons to select the bank number.
- Now press <PROGRAM> and select the desired
program number using the dial or the <DEC/INC>
buttons. Of courseyou don't have to reselect the
bank for choosing a programam bank.
Nano receives on all sixteen MIDI channels, and
each channel can be assigned to a differ
sound. To do so, select desired channel using
<CHANNEL> buttd repeat the required
steps

external sequencer, so that you don't have to do
this manually.
In Dual or Split Modes you can activate two
sounds of nano simltaneously. To do so, select
sounds on both channels and activate Dual or
Split mlese rfer to the UF ml on

Operation with a Sequencer
You can also control nano with a computer if this
connected to the UFeyboard using USB. To do
so, it is neccessary to change the MIDI routing of
the UF keyboard. Press <CHANNEL> and
<DUAL> simultaneously and adjust routing to "1"
using

channels. In order to play nano with the keyboard
again, set MIDI routing back to "0". See chapter
