Storage
Risk of injury! Make sure that unau-
thorised persons do not have access
to the device!
Device damage! The device and all
accessories must be stored in a place
away from frost.
– Store the device in a dry and well ventilated area.
– Do not store the device within the reach of chil-
dren.
– The collection bag must be cleaned prior to stor-
age, every time.
After it has been taken out of operation for a long
time (30 days or more)
– Start the motor and allow to run until the motor
switches itself off.
– Replace the fuel-oil mixture (see Filling with
fuel-oil mixture – Page 31).
– Check the spark plug and replace if required.
Transportation
– Only transport the device with an empty tank.
– Only transport the device when the motor has
cooled down.
– Secure the device from shifting.
– When dispatching, try to use the original pack-
aging, if possible.
Error/Fault
The motor does not work.
Motor falters.
Device does not vacuum or
blow.

Disposal

Disposing of the device
This device may not be disposed of with the house-
hold waste! Ensure it is disposed of professionally.
Information can be obtained from the relevant waste
disposal authorities.
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging is made of cardboard and separately
labelled foil which is also recyclable.

What to do when something doesn't work...
In many cases, small defects can lead to a malfunc-
tion. You will usually be able to deal with these your-
self. Please consult the following table before con-
tacting the store department. This may save you a lot
of effort and quite often money.

No fuel?
Fuel pump not pressed?
Too old or unsuitable fuel-oil mixture?
Contaminated spark plug or one that is
too old?
Is the air filter dirty?
Collection bag is full?
Suction pipe blocked?
Rotor jammed?
Rotor damaged?
Danger of fire! Avoid damages
caused by escaping fuel. Before dis-
posal, have the tank emptied by a spe-
cialist.
