der Abformung berührt. Beim Oberkiefer ist dies das Gaumendach,
beim Unterkiefer der linguale Rand.

is placed on the collar. The optimum model thickness is achieved
when the pin touches the highest curvature of the impression. For
the upper jaw, this is the palatal margin, for the lower jaw it is the
lingual margin.
