Application/
Adjustment
We recommend executing
the following steps of the
application process in the
order suggested below.
Assembly
Flatten the center of the
surface on the distal end of the
residual limb for the dummy, at a
right angle to the axis of the limb.
Clamp the model into a
vacuum tube. Reduce the
limb end to a surface with
a 47-mm diameter. (Fig. 1)

The angle of the flatte-
ned surface will later define

the orientation of the pin.

Attach the lamination dummy
(included in the lamination
dummy kit) with the included
nails. (Fig. 2)

Pull a thin stockinette over
the model (we recommend
using Feather Stretch mate-
rial, REF PA.0013x00) and
tie it off along the notch on
the dummy. (Fig. 3)

Soak a PVA film of a matching
size (we recommend using
REF 70.28x.xxx.xx) and pull
it over the model. (Fig. 4)
