DANGER due to electricity
• Do not immerse the product or mains adapter in water or other liquids
as there is a risk of electric shock.
• Do not use the device outdoors or in areas with high humidity.
Do not touch the mains adapter with wet hands.
• Protect the product from moisture. Never place objects that are filled
with water, such as vases, on or directly next to the sound station.
The sound station must not be exposed to drops or splashes of water.
This will reduce the risk of fire or electric shock.
• Do not open or remove any part of the casing under any circumstances.
There are live electrical components inside the casing that could give
you an electric shock if you touch them.
• Do not insert any objects into openings on the device. There is a danger
of coming into contact with live components.
• Only connect the device to a properly installed wall socket with a mains
voltage that complies with the technical specifications of the device.
• Only use the included mains adapter to operate the device.
• Disconnect the mains adapter from the wall socket...

... if you are not going to use the device for any length of time,

... before cleaning the device.
To unplug, always pull on the mains adapter, not on the connecting cord.
• To disconnect the device fully from the mains, unplug the mains adapter
from the wall socket. The wall socket used must be easily accessible so
that the mains adapter can be removed quickly if necessary. Route the
connecting cord in such a way as to ensure that there is no danger of
tripping over it.
• Do not use the device if the device itself, the mains adapter or connecting
cord show visible signs of damage or if the device has been dropped.
• Do not make any modifications to the product. Have repairs to the
product carried out only by a specialist workshop, or contact the
customer care service. Improper repairs can result in considerable
risks to the user.
• The mains adapter cannot and must not be repaired. If the mains
adapter or connecting cord is damaged, discontinue use and replace
it with a mains adapter of the same type.
WARNING – risk of burns/fire
• Batteries must not be charged, taken apart, thrown into fire or short-
circuited. There is a risk of explosion!
• Warning! Lithium batteries can explode if inserted the wrong way round.
When inserting the battery, pay special attention to the correct posi-
tioning of the poles (+/–). Only use the same type of battery or its equiv-
alent (see the section "Technical specifications").
• Do not put any candles or other sources of open fire on or within close
proximity to the device.
• Do not place the device in closed cupboards or shelves without adequate
ventilation. The sound station must have a clearance of at least 10 cm on
all sides. Do not cover the device with newspapers, tablecloths, curtains,
etc.
WARNING – risk of injury
• If the battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. If necessary, rinse the affected areas with plenty of clear
water and seek medical advice immediately.
CAUTION – material damage
• Taking the device from a cold place to a warm place may cause conden-
sation to form inside the device. In this case, leave the device switched
off for a few hours.
• Place the device on a solid, level surface.
